  • To advise the Provincial Council of Biscay objectively and independently, both at the level of transformation processes and actions and in relation to the production and acquisition of the software and hardware that best adapts to its needs and objectives. Producing, through our customer solution teams, tailored software adapted to the specific needs of the institution and the citizens of Biscay, or by acquiring software and hardware from the technology market, which our technology policy team will oversee fits into the framework of existing and future products.

To achieve that, Lantik provides the information technology (IT) and technical services to the Provincial Council of Biscay in relation to information systems, whereby the services required by the Provincial Council of Biscay are those set out below:

  • The Development and Maintenance of Information Technology Applications and Innovation consists of the study and analysis of IT solutions, and assistance, as the case may be, for the acquisition of IT applications, the development of applications, performing tests, and the implementation in production and their maintenance.

  • The IT Equipment service consists of the supply of IT equipment (hardware and software).

  • The service to operate information systems consists of the organization and implementation of the operation of hardware and software infrastructure, and the performance of all activities and adjustments necessary to maintain adequate provisions that cover the needs of the users of the information systems.

  • This consists of the design, preparation and dissemination of technology policies, which will apply to the information systems of the P.C.B. This will be based on the technology strategies set, overseeing compliance therewith and, due to their nature, will be responsible for carrying out a technology and permanent use audit of the actions carried out, directly or indirectly, by Lantik, S.A.M.P.

  • This consists of the implementation and configuration of the infrastructure of the corporate servers and of the networks and communications systems, at a logical security and physical level.

  • To provide specialised advice and assistance (Consultancy, Auditing and Training) to customers, to improve their Management Systems, based on criteria of Quality, Excellence and Continuous Improvements.

  • The technical advisory service for Job Positions consists of ensuring the correct functioning of office equipment installed for users.

  • The Technical Assistance (CAU) service consists of a remote and multichannel assistance service (telephone, electronic mail and other electronic means) to users for the resolution of any type of incident, at a technical-IT level, that occur in the use of work tools, services and for the use of the different IT systems.

  • The consultancy service consists of providing assistance, objectively and independently from the customer’s organisation, to uncover business problems, analyse them, recommend solutions to these problems and manage the application of solutions.

  • The Customer loyalty and assistance service consists of the implementation of activities designed to cover a commercial function of customer relations, identifying their needs, coordinating with Lantik, S.A. M.P. in the provision of its set of services and guaranteeing the provision of support to customers and users of the services offered.

  • The Training service consists of the teaching of micro-computing courses, which are training actions stemming from the diagnosis of needs performed by the different provincial departments. These courses may be taught online, in a face-to-face workshop, face-to-face in Lantik, S.A. M.P. classrooms or personalised at customers’ premises.

  • The Certification and electronic signature consists of the issuing of various certificates that guarantee electronic interoperability with the Provincial Council of Biscay.

  • The Logical Security service consists of the design, preparation, dissemination and implementation of Security Policies, which will be applied to the IT systems of the P.C.B., along with support for tasks that should be completed to minimise risks to acceptable levels (Management of Logical Security, the Administration of Authorisations, the Control of Logical Access, support for legal compliance with activities related to the IT system, the Data Protection Act/General Data Protection Regulation, the National Security Scheme, the drafting and implementation of policies and counter-measures for information systems).

  • This consists of the provision of activities designed to implement changes that generate new services or products, or which introduce new features in pre-existing services or products.
