Augmented reality at Castro de Arrola

Bilbao. 07/04/2019

Since September 2019, visitors to the pre-Roman site of Castro de Arrola had their visit enriched by an augmented reality application, developed by Lantik for the Provincial Council of Biscay, which offers visitors a visual experience that will allow them to see what the original fort was like some 2,300 years ago.

This application digitally reconstructs, over the existing ruins, the original aspect of the walls and the excavated dwellings together with their furniture, based on the remains discovered, and the archaeological research carried out.
